In June of 2018, I began what I call Pretty Flower Picture Therapy when my aunt became seriously ill. I was looking for something I could do for her and since I am a photographer, and live about 200 miles away, decided to send her a flower picture every day, along with a short description. I was soon sending it to just about everyone I knew, as a way of putting out something positive in the world and as my personal daily practice. I've begun to regard it as an almost six-year-long poem.
I recently added it to an Instagram account, which I guess extends it to the rest of the world.
